Description
Prevents microbial growth. Ideal for diesel storage. Suitable for marine and farming equipment. Protects filters and injectors.
AC-82 Diesel Biocide by Austech Chemicals is a powerful solution designed to inhibit the growth of algae, bacteria, and fungi in diesel fuel storage systems. This additive is perfect for use in bulk diesel storage tanks, diesel trucks, marine fuel systems, farm equipment, and stationary engines. It not only prevents blockages in fuel lines and filters but also reduces gum formation in fuel injectors, ensuring complete combustion. To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to add AC-82 to fuel tanks before fuel is added for complete mixing. For large-scale applications, a dosing pump can be utilized for accurate dispensing. Inspection of filters is recommended when treating extreme cases, as dispersed sludge may cause blockages. It's advised to physically clean excessively contaminated tanks before returning to service, followed by continued treatment.
Benefits
- The primary benefit of using AC-82 Diesel Biocide is the prevention of microbial growth within fuel storage environments, thereby maintaining fuel integrity and engine performance. This biocide not only reduces the risk of blockages within fuel lines and filters but also inhibits corrosion and reduces sludge formation. It is effective in maintaining clean injectors for optimal combustion, thus enhancing fuel efficiency and engine reliability.
Technical
Recommended usage: Add before filling fuel tanks Large-scale applications: Use dosing pump for accurate mixing Filter inspection: Advised for heavily contaminated systems Cleaning: Physically clean heavily contaminated tanks before service
