SYN-X 4000 is a high performance engine lubricant meeting the demanding GM Dexos 1 Generation 2 (D1G2) engine oil specification. It has been designed to provide excellent fuel efficiency whilst offering exceptional engine protection in the harshest conditions including cold start and constant stop-start driving. Formulated using the latest API additive technology, SYN-X 4000 has been developed to be used in all modern General Motors petrol engines, including turbo charged gasoline direct injection engines where the advanced chemistry protects against LSPI and timing chain wear. SYN-X 4000 is suitable for most modern passenger cars calling for a lubricant meeting API SP, ILSAC GF-6A, GM Dexos 1 Generation 2 or earlier specifications in a resource conserving SAE 5W-30 viscosity grade.
