The K177 Pipe Seal from Forch is designed to protect and seal screw threads against gas, water, hydrocarbon, oil, liquid gas, and various chemicals. It effectively replaces hemp, PTFE tapes, and solid seals offering a medium strength solution that is removable with a tool. With a non-hazardous formulation, this sealant adheres to the German Ordinance on Hazardous Substances and has NSF registration in compliance with NSF / ANSI standard 61. Furthermore, it is DVGW tested per DIN EN 751-1, making it reliable in safety and performance. Note: It is not approved for gas indoor installation according to DVGW-TRGI 2008.

Recommended for sealing screw threads to prevent leakage of gas, water, and other chemicals. Ensure the surface is clean before applying. Viscosity ranges between 18,000 and 30,000 mPas. Temperature resistant from -55 °C to +150 °C. Suitable for thread sizes up to M80 / 3".
